“Don’t let the shadows of yesterday spoil the sunshine of tomorrow. Live for today.”

Nandina Morris

I am sitting here quietly this morning taking in every bit around me. I have a fire burning, my healthy new born baby sleeping snug as a bug in her swing next to me, a fresh cup of coffee with my favorite Coconut creamer, my boys and dogs are sleeping peacefully upstairs…I am feeling so blessed in this moment. My heart hasn’t felt so full of love since Rowyn has passed and this morning I find myself actually feeling almost complete again…In a different way then it felt before. I will always feel like somethings not right or that I am missing Rowyn but I feel like for the first time I feel somewhat complete again. I know I still do have Rowyn here with me and she’s still a part of our family. As I write this, Rowyn’s oversized photo stares at me, it’s like shes here having our morning time like we used to, without a doubt I know her soul is present. I feel the peace from her. In some crazy way I feel like she’s been telling me not to worry mom I will always watch over you guys. We have our own personal Guardian Angel that will always protect us. She is still a part of our family in everything we do from picking out pumpkins at the patch, grocery shopping, to just relaxing this morning at home. I know she helped God hand pick this perfect little baby to bring into our family to help us heal. Mynrow Leea Johnson has been the biggest gift I could possibly receive from heaven above to help my family’s hearts heal just a little bit more. I say this all the time but I am still in shock that this is my life. I never thought my heart would feel healed again ever in my life but a year later I am slowly accepting Rowyn’s new role in my family. I know shes playing a part in the master plan of what God has in store for us and she’s working her little angel butt off up there leading our way. This is another chapter in my life book and I cant wait to see what’s coming next. I am feeling so grateful for what I have today instead of focusing on what I don’t have.
