accessibility statement
Last updated: September, 2025
Raise for Rowyn is committed to ensuring our website and digital experiences are usable by everyone, including people with disabilities. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA and to follow best practices informed by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
Our commitment
-
Design and develop new pages with accessibility in mind.
-
Remediate existing content to improve accessibility over time.
-
Provide alternative ways to access information or complete tasks when a barrier is identified.
-
Standards and compatibility
We design toward WCAG 2.2 AA success criteria and test with common assistive technologies (e.g., screen readers), keyboard-only navigation, and color-contrast checkers.
Our site is built to work with current versions of major browsers. Older or discontinued browsers may not provide the best experience.
Measures we take
-
Semantic HTML, proper headings, labels, and landmarks
-
Text alternatives for meaningful images
-
Sufficient color contrast and resizable text
-
Keyboard-accessible menus, forms, and controls
-
Captions or transcripts for pre‑recorded multimedia when available; live captions as resources allow
-
Error prevention and clear instructions on forms
Third‑party content
Some content or features (for example, embedded donation widgets, video players, maps, or social media plugins) are provided by third parties. While we cannot control their code, we encourage our vendors to meet WCAG 2.2 AA and we select accessible options whenever possible.
