35 Hours of a Lifetime of Love: Remembering Dallas Nelson

At Raise for Rowyn, every Angel has a story.

Some stories span years, while others are measured in days or even hours. But the length of a child's life can never measure the depth of the love surrounding them or the impact they leave behind.

This week, we remember Dallas Nelson of Apache Junction, Arizona, one of Rowyn's Angels.

35 Precious Hours

Dallas Renee's journey was difficult from the beginning. Her family shared that she was diagnosed with Trisomy 18, a rare chromosomal condition that can cause significant medical complications.

Dallas's time here was brief, but incredibly meaningful. She blessed her family with 35 precious hours.

During those hours, Dallas was surrounded by the people who loved her. She met her big brother, her aunts and uncles, and her grandparents. She also had precious time with just her mom and dad.

Her family knew their time together was limited, so they embraced those moments and filled them with as much love as possible.

Thirty-five hours may sound short when measured on a clock.

For Dallas's family, however, those hours held a lifetime of love and memories.

A Little Reminder at 2:22

Dallas's memory continues to show up in a particularly meaningful way for her mom.

Her family shared that Dallas still draws her mom's eyes toward the clock when it reads 2:22—a number connected to Dallas's birthday and her Angel number.

Sometimes remembrance appears in the smallest moments.

A number.A date.A song.A photograph.A familiar feeling.

For families grieving the loss of a child, those moments can become lasting connections to someone who remains deeply loved and forever part of their family.

Every Angel's Story Matters

Remembering Dallas

Today, we remember Dallas Renee and the 35 precious hours she shared with her family.

We remember the little girl who met her big brother and was held and loved by her parents, grandparents, aunts, and uncles.

And when the clock happens to read 2:22, perhaps a few more people will now think of Dallas, too.
